PKG blocked? Allow this installer in Security settings

Use these steps only if a developer-verification warning blocks the downloaded PKG. If Installer opens normally, go to step 7.

Apple menu () → System Settings → Privacy & Security → Security → Open Anyway
  1. 01

    Find the downloaded PKG

In Finder, open Downloads and locate titan.pkg downloaded using the macOS button on this page. Check where the file came from.

  2. 02

    Try opening the PKG first

Double-click titan.pkg. If a developer-verification or Apple malware-check warning blocks it, read the message and dismiss it with Done or OK. Keep the file. This attempt makes the per-file approval option available.

  3. 03

    Open System Settings

Choose the Apple menu () at the top left, then System Settings. Select Privacy & Security in the sidebar; scroll the sidebar if necessary.

  4. 04

    Scroll down to Security

Scroll down the right-hand pane to Security. Find the message about the blocked titan.pkg file. Make sure it refers to the installer you just opened.

  5. 05

    Choose Open Anyway

If you trust the source and decide to install, click Open Anyway beside that file. Labels vary by macOS version. You do not need to disable security for all apps.

  6. 06

    Approve with your Mac credentials

Use your Mac login password or Touch ID if offered. An administrator prompt requires a Mac administrator account, not your TITAN password. If another warning appears, check the file name and choose Open or Open Anyway.

  7. 07

    Complete the installer

In Installer, choose Continue and read the prompts. Click Install and approve any requested administrator authentication. Wait for completion and close the installer. Allowing a file in Settings does not itself install the app.

  8. 08

    Launch TITAN and sign in

Open TITAN from Applications in Finder, sign in with your TITAN account, choose a server and connect. If launching the app triggers a separate block, verify its name and source and use the same approval process. Review any VPN configuration permission request actually shown before allowing it.

No Open Anyway button?

First try opening the PKG; downloading alone is not enough. The option may be available for about one hour after the attempt. Try opening it again and return to Settings if that time has passed. A normally opening installer needs no exception.

Different menus or a disabled button?

Older macOS versions use System Preferences → Security & Privacy → General. Organization-managed Macs may restrict installation; contact your administrator. Find the macOS version under Apple menu → About This Mac.

A damaged-file or will-damage-your-computer warning?

Treat this differently from a developer-verification warning. Stop installation rather than force-opening the file or disabling protection with Terminal. Send the warning text and macOS version to support.

A little help before you start
